notes
The Heritage Singers are proud of the history of our organization. Over the past 25 years we have been able to promote men’s choral singing and be a part of the outstanding musical tradition of Minot. We have provided entertainment for such occasions as the Norsk Hostfest Hall of Fame Banquet, North Dakota Centennial Celebration, and Celebrate Minot to name a few.

Every year our scheduled performances include Handel’s Messiah, Festival of Lessons & Carols, the Heritage Singer Variety Show, and a variety of concerts and performances as requested.

Each year brings us challenges and opportunities. One of our continuous challenges is funding. Our annual budget of $8,000 includes music, tuxedo purchase and repair, programs, advertising, gifts and scholarships, travel, and professional stipends. We are proud that we have been able to meet our annual budget with support from our community, not from public grants.

In the past we have approached individuals and businesses for support of each concert or performance. One of our supporters suggested that rather than approach sponsors for each event we should contact our patrons annually to become a Heritage Singer Promoter. This would save time and effort for both our supporters and our organization.

In becoming a Heritage Singer Promoter you will be included in all promotions and advertisements for the season. Three levels of support have been created.

Platinum
This level of support will include 20 tickets to our annual variety show, a donation to the Dr. Joseph Hegstad Scholarship Fund at MSU, and a free performance for your organization, subject to scheduling
Gold
This level of support will include 12 tickets to our annual variety show and a donation to the Dr. Joseph Hegstad Scholarship Fund.
Silver
This level of support will include four tickets to our annual variety show and a donation to the Dr. Joseph Hegstad Scholarship Fund.

We appreciate your time and consideration of the new program. Thank you for your past support. We hope we can rely on your continued support of one of the finest men’s choral groups in the region.
